The Community Centre has a selection of 7 rooms a Lounge and a Hall and can provide a variety of tables and chairs to suit your requirement as well as equipment such as TV’s, Projectors, Whiteboards, Flip Charts, a piano etc. Staff will be happy to advise when you book.

  • All rooms have electrical power points and some have hand basins.
  • Free WIFI is available within the Centre.
  • There is a car park for 18 cars and also on street free parking for 3 hours adjacent to the premises

Main Hall inc' Stage (suitable for approx' 350)

Often considered our most popular feature the hall can seat at least 350 people and is often used by our amateur dramatic groups, musical societies and choirs. It features a fully equipped stage with good lighting and sound facilities. There is access to the bar counter and as a venue for large size celebrations (weddings, anniversaries, etc.) is ideal.

A slightly L shaped room with outlook on to the garden and a foldaway door giving access to the Bar/cafe area we call the lounge. Particularly suitable for social clubs such as scrabble.

Room 2

Reasonable sized and an almost square shape. Normal theatre style seating for approximately 35-40 people but tables can be arranged for small conferences or training courses.

Room 3

Similar to room 2 in size . Can be used for social/hobby clubs such as Whist where card tables (4 seats) laid out can accommodate 24-28 people. A hand basin is in the corner.

Room 7

An oblong shaped room with a hand basin and its own private entrance direct from the car park. This room is used by our arts and crafts clubs and is probably at its best accommodating a maximum of 14-16 people at tables.

Conditions of Hire

Please do read and and take note of the guidelines below and our requirements of hire.

  1. Bookings are normally by the complete Hour.
  2. All rooms must be vacated by the end time booked or you may lose your damage/returnable deposit and/or incur extra charges.
  3. Rooms must be left in the condition found (clean and tidy with equipment replaced if used). There may be a cleaning fee of £30 per hour to be settled within 21 days if it is not left clean/tidy.
  4. Registered Charities applying to use facilities for charitable purposes must provide proof of Charitable status.
  5. NO ALCOHOL to be brought on to premises at any time.
  6. Please read our full terms and conditions when you are given them to sign with your booking form.
